FAQ
Answers to some common questions

What is reglazing?
Reglazing is not just a clear coat of shine, it is the complete colour matched repainting of a surface.

Can you refinish older tubs?
That's my specialty. Let's give those older guys a new lease on life.

How do I care for the resurfaced tub etc.
Do not use abrasive cleaners, or leave soap or shampoo bottles etc on side of tubs, both will dull the pait or eat away at the surface. Rubber mats to be removed after each use.

What kind of surfaces can you do and renew?
The most common of course is your bathroom tubs, sinks and vanity tops, however fiberglass and jetted tubs and any other fiberglass surface such as chairs or tables can be resurfaced. Even damaged steel doors can be refinished.

How long will this take and how long before I can use the tub?
The length of time to complete the work depends of course on the extent of work. The average is about half a day. Once completed, it is necessary to leave the surface to cure for at least 24 to 30 hours.

How much will this cost?
Let's put it this way it is a lot less than replacing the bathroom fixtures. Prices will vary according to the work to be done. Please give Peter a call and he will be happy to provide a more detailed price, either over the phone or with a free on site estimate.
